To be fair, the travelling blues are no strangers to service station shenanigans.

This reminds me I seen this rubbish yesterday, moaning about City while they are planning this, will they insist on a minute silence at the CL final?I see in our local rag that the RS will have a victory circus... sorry, parade around our environs on May 29th. Apparently, its the only day they can possibly do it because of players going on international duties. It's also the anniversary of Heysel. Never changes does it... the things we find tasteless and the things they find completely acceptable.
That's a disgrace if true.I see in our local rag that the RS will have a victory circus... sorry, parade around our environs on May 29th. As if that will make a difference to PED FC.That Marhez penalty miss could be a blessing in disguise. He scores it and they would have rested players for the last 2 games.
Now with a final in 11 days he has no choice but to put out a near full strength team.
Logic or irony never comes into it for them. Klopp wanting x y and z changed because it doesn't suit them - from too many games to rogue Covid test false positive negatives. They simply change the backdrop to suit the same aim.So from now on there shouldn’t be an issue with them playing on April 15th
We were out of the race by then for 4th, we'd secured 5th and had nothing to play for. I wanted City to win, plus Naismith nearly got an equaliser, so we did try despite what the dark side say.I don’t remember it like that! We were 5th before that game, only 4 points behind Arsenal in 4th, going for Champions League. I definitely wanted us to win.
We tried, but they had another gear to go to and a reason to go to it, maybe we could've gone a little bit harder, but not much.I don’t remember it like that! We were 5th before that game, only 4 points behind Arsenal in 4th, going for Champions League. I definitely wanted us to win.
I don't remember any footie open top parades coming out our way to be honest. The nearest they got to Huyton was usually Queens Drive/Prescot Road junction. We saw them there in '95. They used to come from Allerton Station then straight down the Drive, turn off to pass Goodison then down Scottie to town.If I remember correctly the route of the parade in 2019 ending on the strand was because the council already had a river festival taking place by the Pier Head and couldn't divide it's security and event planners into two operations. They're doing the same again I imagine because of the roadworks that will never end on Lime Street.
I have a vague memory of the 95' FA Cup parade going past the Huyton village big Asda and that's where I watched it from on the following Sunday.
The berk probably doesn't recognise Hughes and Keegan !!Answer came there none
