I've stopped buying it for this reason.

Yeah its a very simple games its a rectangle you move a ball about. The basic premis has been achieved since the 90s. Yet they charge people top dollar every year. I see some games do a free patch that has more changes than the new edition of fifa.

Like fine if you don't wanna do.much changes. You got money you got current hardware. Why not get the whole team to focus on making the stadium and each individual fan as realistic as possible in motion and look etc. You look at the crowd even in 2022 and it still takes you out of it.

Commentary seems to have gotten worse.

I'd rather a 40 season open world type game where you go from scruff to legendary manager. Based in a City where you can run around, buy better gear, houses, get sponsors, married to a wag, get sacked, injured, get arrested for doing stupid stuff like GTA.

As long as they sort out the online multiplayer as this years version of it is completely broken. Actually unplayable.
 
Finally started unlocking the movies in Tony Hawks, I restarted before I finished last time but nearly complete with all skaters now. Played a bit of sunset overdrive which is good fun and picked up Kingdom of Amalur the re-reckoning, really good game, had the original version also.
 

Got a good few hours off Fifa 22 since it was free on PS Plus recently, but I hate the gameplay. Its not anything like actual football and makes no attempts to be. Also, its amazing how many bugs there are in such a copy/paste job. I've had entire teams go missing in tournaments replaced with broken code text.

The licensing change is very welcome.
 
Arma Reforger released on PC and Xbox X/S today.

It’s not Arma 4, but it’s utilises Bohemia Interactive’s new Enfusion engine and serves as a tease for the next main game.

I’m quite intrigued by this, especially with the series coming to console for the first time.

You'll be disappointed then, all that us changing is the FIFA name, EA are still making it, all the same problems will exist, I really can't see it changing overly much.

Literally gave up buying it 10 years ago and got it free like you and its only compounded my stance.
 
The worst part of FIFA is the better football game in Pro Evo got outdone by cards, beggars belief, people more interested in those stupid ultimate team cards than the actual gameplay. Pro Evo should come back strong, sack the free to play crap, sort the animations out and let us have a football game that represents football.

Not exactly, EA Sports will make more football games but FIFA have plans for simulation football games from other developers.

How slow is Epic GS at downloading stuff. I picked up the free Borderlands 3 which is 99GB an I'm still installing it 2 days later. Lucky if I hit 1MB it's terrible.
