Morning all from Skiathos. Last full day today then home on a midday ( hopefully!) flight tomorrow.
After a full day's Mama Mia cruise yesterday - great fun - we were woken at 4am by a full on domestic next door with her crying that she had wasted 40 years and was then violently sick! Such fun.
So a recovery day on the beach.

Ooh I love overhearing a good domestic! I used to have a flat on Ullet Road - in the house between the Solna Hotel and Laus Restaurant. One morning I was woken up by hearing a man, in the Solna car park, shouting up at an unspecified room " I know you're in there Ann. I love you Ann. I know you're with him. Just come out. I love you Ann" Had to leave for work eventually so missed the end of the drama. Enjoy your last day.

Absolutely buzzing I'm getting a new basin and toilet as well which I wasn't expecting, I'm really pleased, might actually have a nice bathroom yet.

Last week it was five years since my Mum passed away. Dad asked for a Mass to be said for her. it is on Wednesday at 10 am. He wants to go. I don't work on Wednesdays so I'm going to go with him. It's a long time since I've been to Mass but it feels like the right thing to do while I'm here with him.

My brother is an RC priest (retired). I get him to do all my stuff.

Taking advantage of a fine day and free bus pass decided to go to the town park for coffee and scone this morning.

More views of the park including the garden of remembrance. The council has just voted to stop planting flower beds and baskets in various places around the city including the park to save £50,000. I know that money is tight and £50,000 is a lot but it’s sad to see the weeds which are already putting in an appearance and I think it will be only a matter of time before the whole place takes on an uncared for look. So many people get so much pleasure from the park, there is a childrens play area, paddling pool, aviary, tennis courts etc. there as well, that it seems to me that keeping the park in its present condition would be money well spent.

The very nice gentleman is also putting boxing around my pipes behind the toilet, another win, it looked awful before, been putting up with this ganky bathroom 3 1/2 years, it has stopped me decorating it it was so bad. This time next month there will only be my bedroom left to floor and decorate. God knows when but I don't spend time in there except to sleep.

Nice park, will be a shame if not maintained. One thing I do like about my town is the park, it's kept in great nick by the lads who work there. Probably the only place you can go and not see broken glass every 10yards and litter is minimal, unlike the town. Still get idiots who don't pick the dog poop up but most do.

Nice park, will be a shame if not maintained. One thing I do like about my town is the park, it's kept in great nick by the lads who work there. You need a lot of community pride along with good staff to maintain any shared space like a park. Unfortunately that is a lot easier said than done.

So , Everton, bloody hell.

I can see Burnley winning one of their last 2 games or Leeds getting a win at Brentford. However neither is certain and defo not certain that both teams will get the results. Possible but not certain.
If Leeds don't win we are safe.
If Burnley get a point in their remaining games the we need to match that because of goal difference I think.
So , whilst we really need to beat Palace and put all the doubts to bed a point could still be useful.
The one thing that I am certain of is that we won't get anything at Arsenal.in the last game of the season.
This was supposed to be a relaxing holiday but my nerves are shredded!
Are y'all confident or not? I'm 40/60 .
