Eh? If I was your coach and you didn't stick your hand out to save a certain winner in the final seconds of the most important match of all our careers I would never play you again.

Think about it, kidda.

Where has any shred of respect or fair play gone with comments like this, not to mention decency. It wasn't just Uruguay's biggest ever match - it was also the Ghana players, if you can justify cheating to win and therefore cheat others out of their deserved rewards you do not deserve to be involved in the game. The cancer that is killing football is the win at all costs metality that forgives cheating, especially simulation (I absolutely hate it when I see an Everton player roll on the floor as if he's been shot - thankfully it is far and few between). Money is king of all now and FA, PL, UEFA and FIFA can't afford for the 'big' teams to not do well because of this.

Yet another small step today along a very sad road that football has been moving down for at least 10 years.

I'm a martial artist and a man of honour.

I would never cheat. In any circumstances. End of.

You're a man who does not differentiate between a foul and cheating. I understand martial arts and I know they teach the difference quite early on. Maybe you've still a way to go, lad.

You also do not understand the difference.

Let me explain.

Cheating: simulating and/or disguising an act which the referee does not see/is fooled by to the detriment of the opposition.

Intentional foul: openly committing a foul against the rules of the sport in an attempt to benefit your team and stop the opposition's progress.

Suarez's handball in the World Cup can be compared to when the last defender trips over the striker on his way to goal and gets red-carded for it. Is that cheating or is that an obvious foul which gets fairly punished (by a red card)?

Suarez's feigning injury to influence the referee in unfairly sending off an opposing team-mate is no foul, but it is clearly cheating.

So you understand now the difference between a foul and cheating?

Goes without saying mate, but I really hope you bury those [Poor language removed] in a couple of weeks. We'd have beaten them today if it hadn't been for a corrupt tvvat, so fcuk knows what United are capable of doing to them. Make them cry.

I actually thought "fair enough", when Suarez did his handball in the World Cup. He "took one for the team", as it were.

I've posted this elsewhere, and this is also an "intentional foul"

But it's also why I'd not be sorry if someone crippled the little sh*tehawk next game. Look at his reaction, after deliberately trying to maim an opponent.

Hit the wrong button before I could finish the message

What I was trying to say was that it will be a tough game for us ( We were ****e today)

However we will need to get a result especially as City are full on at the moment

Also we are due to turn them over and I reckon we will big style

No, let me explain... through use of actualy dictionary definitions, rather than, y'know, ones you've made up:

verb
4.
to practice fraud or deceit: She cheats without regrets.

5.
to violate rules or regulations: He cheats at cards.

6.
to take an examination or test in a dishonest way, as by improper access to answers.

7.
Informal . to be sexually unfaithful (often followed by on ): Her husband knew she had been cheating all along. He cheated on his wife.

*edit* Removing stupid vaguely threatening sounding comment from end, cause I'm not a knobby snide, just really angry and frustrated. And I apologise.

Two weeks to wait until that game...it'll be worth it though. You'll be fine. I cant for the life of me see how Liverpool stop United so I'm looking forward to the Kopites swinging from lamposts.

Made the mrs watch that GIF and these were her words:

'what?! He was nowhere near him'

Followed by analysis of how Suarez lands on the foot which was alledgedly caught as if no pain was there! (I hadnt even noticed that!)

Love her she's ace.

Christ, I had him down as a sneaky little sh.it before seeing that, now I know he's a nasty sneaky little sh.it........

When he did that handball in the wc, wasn't he serving a ban in club football for biting ? and also missed the 1st 2 r/s games cos of the ban.

He's like one of the Osmonds crossed with Shane McGowan, his teeth are queueing up to get out ffs.

Have to say though, I am gobsmacked that he didn't hit the deck when he got rattled with a Quid, right in front of us as well, considering there's a recession there was some coinage went over. Which will of course be in Atkinson's get out of jail match report about the Partisan Atmosphere.

He'll come out of this like his sh1t doesn't stink and we'll be dragged over the coals.
