I played against Wycombe Wanderers for Maidenhead Utd in the 1970's. They were a top amateur side. Their pitch at their old ground (Loakes Park) sloped from touchline to touchline. The first time you play there, if a centre comes in from the high side you miss the header by about a foot. If it comes from the low side it hits you in the chin!

Having said that, I never really got into The Cure. I think I was afraid of the older kids at school who dressed like them and covered their school bags with their lyrics.

Fun, what sort of party was it? As a kid my dad used to drink whiskey and I didn’t like it for the longest time, but I have gotten older I have gained appreciation for it.

Friends birthday bash… DJ.. music.. drinks.. good times… not enough of those anymore… I’m a late developer for sure.. didn’t reply get into whiskey till a few years ago.. single malts was the game changer.. but a bourbon fan mostly..

Sounds very entertaining. Same with me. Before we had our daughter we partied a lot, had many DJ friends and while going to grad school I was working as a waitress so after late nights at work we would then party until the early morning hours, but parenthood has definitely changed those old tendencies. We are actually going to a wedding next week and im very much looking forward to it.

Prosecco is light on calories and high on alcohol so it works great for me ?

Good morning all on this lovely day here in Hyvinkää. Late night for us last night as the Ice Hockey world championship started and Finland as hosts played the opener and won 5-0.
Oh for Everton to do that tomorrow.
I hope everyone had a good night and has a great day today .

I was also appreciating our moon last night. I saw an article just recently that scientists recently grew some plants on soil collected from the moon decades ago, I thought that was pretty cool ? Hope your shopping went well.
