Except they’ll all have massive relegation wage cut provisions in all their contracts

I'd be astonished and amazed if anyone had the foresight to put a clause like that in their contracts. Well run clubs, yes. Us, doubtful.

Plus most of these highly paid players came here on talk of chasing Europe and the top spots, not battling to stay in the division. I doubt the thought will have even ever come from Moshiri down.

I am sure we have had a goal disallowed this season for a player being in the line of the goalkeeper haven’t we? It’s definitely happened a few times so whether it hit their player or not, the goalie wasn’t to know which is the point

I reckon we are favourites to go now - Burnley have been very good tonight unfortunately when it matters.

Problem for me is when we inevitably fall into the bottom three I don’t think we have it in us to win a game we have to win.

Easiest fixture for burnley so expected them to win this easily...wolves will be very different as they are fighting for europe and they are a much better team than Southampton
