Depending what way you look at it, either us or Burnley will know how each other had done going in kick off time, as the only time we actually kick off the same time is the final day with the only other time been a 15min difference 3 days early when we ko v Palace at Goodison, while they play away to Villa

Havent seen any bedwetter shouts personally, not saying they dont exist.

Think everybodys arse is collectively going atm and big red winning the lot is miles away from most minds currently.

There were bedwetter shouts a couple of months back but they’ve definitely died down now. It was from people who thought we’d just turn it on and start picking up points and be 12th by this time. Why people thought we’d do that I don’t know.

…I think that’s understandable because people care desperately about our fate. We are deep in the mire, i have grave concerns myself about how this season is panning out.
We all have concerns . But when Burnley led at half time Sunday we were down according to posters . After burnely beat us we were in liquidation. It's in our hands to stay up . There will be worries yes. But reacting to every goal isn't going to help anyone is it.

For a while it was looking incredibly bleak with injuries, suspensions and desperate luck with VAR.

We have played this season with half a squad, I’ve never known anything like it. We are going into the last eight games with the majority fit and available.

Good point. Although it sometimes doesn’t seem to be the case we do have a squad which should be in the top half of the table. Eight games with a near enough fully fit squad should see us finish above at least three teams

When you are down, it feels like everything goes against you. Our injuries over the last three years have been ridiculous. Way way more than you would expect. This season has been even worse!

Its a huge part of why we are where we are.

If we can keep them fit and avoid suspensions we should just stagger over the line,

I just think they play differently. Defensively they’re far better that’s for certain, and they’ve got far more nouse about them.

That 17/18 team though could rip City for three or four goals in the blink of an eye. We were facing them with Cuco Martina Williams Jagielka and Kenny in a back 4, Davies and Siggurdson plodding round in midfield, a young DCL just running aimlessly upfront.

Now this Liverpool team have a different sort of threat. If you sit deeper they’re unlikely to rip you open. If you can avoid conceding set pieces or giving a pen away then a Jota header or wonder goal is probably the most likely option. We’ve also got more about us all over the pitch (despite our league position) than that 17/18 team with probably only Gueye making it into this 11 from that one.

So my point is if that 17/18 team can get a point from Anfield then there’s no reason why this team can’t.

Got to love this take on Liverpool at the start of week in which they ripped City and United apart left, right and centre.
