….lots of ‘ifs & buts’. One team down there will unexpectedly win a few games. At this point, I still feel it’s likely to be us or Burnley that drop but we shouldn’t write Watford off at this point, especially as they have us to play at their place. Their home form is dreadful but throw form out of the window, strange results happen at the pointy end of the season.
Meant to say that if a team has failed to win most of the season I guarantee they will be looking at the forthcoming fixtures to see when they play us. We are a very benevolent club after all as has been shown numerous times in the past. Everton that!

Your a bettin man. Do you think they will stay up?
It's not impossible no. . But it is highly unlikely.
People keep making cases for teams with terrible results all season to suddenly go and win 4 or 5 games in 7. Why .

…no, I wouldn’t back them. Just looked at their odds, 1/25 to be relegated is reassuring. Saying that, I wouldn’t back any in this race in case I jinx it.

I’m just saying Watford could still escape, I suppose the likelihood is factored into those odds.

Leeds, Brentford and Newcastle have all done this recently
Newcastle spent a lot of money in January to help them. They had 20 games to put a run together.
Leeds changed managers and got key players back. Brentford surprised me .
But there are now 7/8 games left . Watford have tough games left.
We have every bit as much chance of winning more games then them . I would suggest there is no way they finish ahead of us now.
I'm been logical. Not lookin at worst case scenarios

Goal difference is worth a point so it's essentially 7 points.

Newcastle have signed £100m of players to do that.
Leeds are nowhere near as bad as Watford
Brentford are the anomaly there, but even they are significantly better than Watford.
I think the big difference for Brentford is Erickson, it's funny really, I just couldn't see that transfer working, I didn't think Brentford had enough good players to benefit from Erickson's skills, how wrong was I? They have looked a much better team since signing him.
