….I still wouldn’t write Watford out of this dogfight. 6 points behind but they have us to play. As we saw last weekend, the situation can change in an instant.

Unless we put a run of results together and others don’t, it’s going to be a dreadful month or so.

They are at home to Brentford on Saturday. If they don't win, they are gone. Their goal difference is worth a point less as well compared with us and Burnley.

All we can do is take 1 game at a time. Not worth worry about the difficult 3 games coming up after Leicester because Leicester have players who can hurt us massively.

All that matters is that game and getting a positive result. Won't matter what others do if we take care of our own business and we've a great chance to string 2 wins on the bounce with us being at home.

I agree, but the fact they already have an absolute must win game shows they are up against it. Even a draw is little use to them.

…they must beat us, I think that’s the key for them. If they do, they only need to accumulate 4 more points than us before the end of the season. I think they are still involved.

I think Watford will run out of games. They have City and Chelsea away as well. Even if they somehow won their other 5 games we’d still finish above them if we get 9 more points.

6pts is a HUGE amount when you’re talking about teams who don’t pick up many. That’s 27% of the points they’ve picked up all season.

Plus they’d have played 2 games more than us.

….lots of ‘ifs & buts’. One team down there will unexpectedly win a few games. At this point, I still feel it’s likely to be us or Burnley that drop but we shouldn’t write Watford off at this point, especially as they have us to play at their place. Their home form is dreadful but throw form out of the window, strange results happen at the pointy end of the season.

Like an away win?

Watford have 7 games left . 2 of them are away to man city and Chelsea where it is unlikely they get anything. To pass us out they would need to get 7 more points then us. Even if you write off our games at the rs and arsenal it is highly unlikely that they do.
