According to Twitter (I know) Moshiri was only a minority partner to Corestate in the purchase of the Liver Building. Corestate purchased it for 45 million and are selling for 90 million. Could just be a simple case of real estate investment.
Indeed. I saw the Esk suggested this.. assume he's the Twitter source?

I think it was someone in the comments under one of the Esk's tweets. If it was directly from the Esk I'd have taken it with a pinch of salt lol
I was only joking here re the bold part. I'm actually a fan of the Esk and like his tweets. In case you'er reading this Esk x

One of my mates who deals in property reckons there is a lot of Russian owned property in Liverpool, it wouldnt suprise me if they are trying to sell this before a financial paper trail gets looked into

The value of the club is effectively zero if relegated. We have £400m of spending commitments and a £500m stadium to build.

FM is going to have to eat a huge loss, he either accepts it is going to happen and sells the club now for £1 or we turn into Derby County when he can't cover the losses next season.

Whoever buys is liable for literally hundreds of millions in losses guaranteed so will need very deep pockets.
But this might make it cheaper, really what we are selling is the future stadium and potential, there will be someone stupid enough to buy it

His ownership so far

There could be a residual effect of Chelsea being taken over now.

Quite a lot of buyers on the market for a PL club right now in regard to Chelsea, a failed bidder could do business with Moshiri for a lot cheaper than Chelsea.

Good timing to sell a Football club now.

No. All they’d need to do is have us stable in the Premier League with healthy finances to be a gigantic improvement on Moshiri.

Really, love your optimism mate, the Moshiri whose put £500m into Everton squandered by five or is it six managers and two Dof's the Moshiri who is building a new stadium ? Yes he's made mistakes interfering in transfers, but if you had put that much money into a club, wouldn't you want the odd choice. He has also improved the ground we play in. Yes he's made mistakes but putting massive investment into the club, infrastructure and a new ground is not among them. Can not see a massive queue forming for our mess of a club that I fear is heading for relegation, a relegation that is mainly down to horrendous injuries and players that simply haven't performed to the levels they should have. Hope Kenwright follows him out of the door if Moshiri sells up, but I have a horrible feeling he won't and will do his level best to try and own the club again.
