I wonder if it was decision making, or execution?

I thought decision making but maybe bit of both. He tried to shoot from tight angles too many times.

The attack was a bit lopsided which didn't help. Townsend didn't carry much threat on the right.

He was outstanding. I just don’t see how anyone could say he was poor? Yes he was too eager to get a goal and was a little greedy but his willingness to run a players is a major attribute.

Hopefully lampard can try and drill into him better decision making, he’s brilliant at getting into good positions but always shoots instead of looking up, could be world class in a couple of years.

He's been the find of the PL season alongside Gallagher.

I'd like to see him go beyond the opposition back four on more occasions though rather than play his football in front of them.

However, he’s positive, quick, direct and takes responsibility to make things happen and that’s something we absolutely need.

He’s a tendency to try to hard against weak opposition and undermines himself. Bizarrely he performs better against PL opposition.

Think he’s trying to find that game - were he scores a bucket load.

There’s plenty of world class players who choose to be greedy and not convert chances pal. Just say he was poor tonight is an absolute joke. He was comfortably our most dangerous player. Every time he got the ball he was looking to make something happen.
