ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I hate it. I really do. But I wish we could just be 10% as efficient as they are when it comes to transfers.

Never a drawn out process, only time you hear it in the media is when it's almost done. They seem to have a type of player and buy what they need, not what they think might be good. City are the same. Ajax are like that as well.

We've no excuses. We've wasted £500m on absolute guff. £500m should at least have us not in a relegation battle. We can go on about FFP all we want but we've flushed half a billion down the crapper with nothing to show for it. Yes, FFP was brought in to protect the big clubs, but that doesn't excuse the fact we had a big pile of cash that we were allowed to invest, did so, but basically set it on fire. Can you think of anything that money bought that was worth it? £110m for Iwobi, Bolasie, Kean and Klaassen ffs.
Analytics based recruitment, it's fool proof most of the time, as the old adage says "stats don't lie".

I'm surprised Moshiri hasn't embrace analytics, he's a numbers/finance man, but for some reason he prefers the outdated sole DoF model signing players.

Having problems with Carvalho as Fulham wont accept £5m and a loan back. Liverpool dont want another tribunal as Elliott cost £4m but has a 20% sell on clause so think Liverpool want to avoid that.

He would go from playing weekly to sitting on the bench. Be better staying at Fulham or joining a club where he will play regularly

Blame the rules all you want. We spent over 500m. We had one chance to crack it & we failed. City didn’t, they brought the right players to progress & traded players & upgraded to get to where they are. That’s how it’s supposed to be done, not waste millions on crap players that we can’t cash in on. FFP was designed to stop clubs going massively into debt & putting clubs at risk of going under, not to stop other clubs competing. We could have competed if we hadn’t of spunked it all. Now, we’re at the crossroads with a big weight around our neck in BMD. Unfortunately we can’t now have a team AND a Stadium because of bad management.

He's a free agent in summer, do you still get fees for players under 21 who are out of contract?

I wish I had Daveks faux confidence in him being crap, he looks rather good and Liverpool seem to have a good track record of big signings in recent years with the exception of Keita

Just a sample of my predictions:

VVD a PL success in the making
Roberston ditto
Gordon ditto
Madrid humiliating Liverpool
Brands being hopeless
Moshiri being hopeless
Us getting Lampard

...you're welcome.
I know you're getting on in years, my dad has dementia, he's being cared for in a home in Bootle, I have checked, they have places mate, you're not alone x
