In a way it's good business if it condems your rival , means it reduces the pool of teams for that third spot giving you a better chance of staying up.

I was thinking "well its not as bad as Tosun for 27m", but then I realised Wood is 30. That's a lot of money for an average-at-best 30 year old.

Fwiw I think Wood is a useful player. Absolute arse pain for defenders. He's served their cause well. Fair play to Burnley if they're getting £20m plus for a bloke they've probably had the best years out of and make a small profit on (apparently paid £15m for him).
