ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It’s not though, they literally play the games a week later than they would have.

Our fans need to stop with all this moaning about this, it’s embarrassing.
It's not just us commenting on it you know. Have a look at the broad spread of under article newspaper comments from other teams supporters. Ah well, at least when the snarl up of games hits them, Herr Klopp surely won't be moaning again about having to play too many games in a small window. Er.... ?

Same precedent as last season.

City had a "outbreak" and got a PL game cancelled and got the 1st leg Carabao semi final against Man United postponed.

Don't see what the outcry has been, Klopp has Covid Thiago Allison and Matip have it and they have more cases spreading and Klopp seems to find the whole tournament a waste of time, Arsenal were always going through Covid outbreak or not.

Ah, well that makes it all right, Klopp doesn't like the competition so we should all bow down to him and his ego.

It’s not dodgy, the cup tie will be settled a week later than it would have. They won’t have their AFCON players back. It’s actually worse for Liverpool this way round, the second leg is now at Arsenal and it just gives them more games to play on the bounce now with an already depleted squad.

Leyton Orient got kicked out because the following round was the week after so it wouldn’t just mess that round up but also the following one.

Worse? Arsenal should be awarded a 3 nil victory for this leg.
Baffles me why Leyton orient haven't involved solicitors

Three players have suspect tests with covid, liverpool cant cope, instant thumbs up for whatever they want, Middlesbrough register 19 legitimate covid positives they have still got to play , it took a mass outcry and the manager humiliating the officials to get the game postponed, it stinks of special dispensation.

It does smell of special dispensation just like Man City last season who gave no clarification of the outbreak and which players had it and they only shut down the training ground for 1 day and had 12 days off, United last month getting 16 days without games just when a new manager is installed, even though they had 20 fit players and the training ground only shut down 1 day in that 16.

Man City showed a way last season how to use and bend these rules to your advantage and every club has copied them since, even smaller clubs like Leeds and Newcastle ravaged by injuries pulled out the covid excuse recently.

There was no first leg semi-final against United. They were one-off semi finals last season.

What are you talking about? We played on Boxing Day and 3rd January. That's not 12 days. I swear we're living rent-free in Liverpool fans' heads.

I think it's called 'obsession'.

He's still hurting from the 18/19 campaign when the PL trophy should have been shared. Receiving the trophy at a furniture exhibition, in the middle of a pandemic and when nobody cared, was not how it was meant to be.
