Correct. However, we don’t know if any rules have been amended ahead of this season’s competition regarding postponements/teams unable to play.

But this would be extremely difficult to rearrange with so many postponed league games already requiring to be fit in.

I see Liverpool fans already calling for just one leg on neutral ground to be played. That would surely mean tomorrow’s other semi would have to be altered to one leg then? They should play whatever team they can muster like others have had to do, like Villa in last years FA Cup game.

They could finish fourteenth and UEFA would still find something in their rules and regulations small print on the lines of there needing to be a required number of teams that play in red needing to be included.

I think that's right. Perhaps in 2014, when they went on that great run that ended with Gerrard's slip, more people wanted them to win the league than not. All that has definitely gone now.
