ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Here comes the "Covid" delay for Arsenal.

They are missing 7 players by my count
3 with COVID
1 injured
3 at AFCON

Looking at their first team squad they have 27 players

So this shouldn't be a problem but what about those Under 23 oh they have 25 players

So boo boo pick some kids and take your beating.

Absolute joke if they get this postponed, but then they have stooped lower than this to win games, the cheating barstewards.

Egypt are second favourites for the afcon, let's hope they go the distance and keep Salah out there for the duration, he is the main one who could drag them back in the title race, City are bound to have a mini blip soon after 11 wins on the spin and RS would only be 5pts behind if they win their game in hand.Remember Newcastle blew a 15 pt lead in 95/96 due to complacency.

More concerned about our own performances but I think the consequences of them losing Mane and Salah will have them looking over their shoulders at those fighting for 4th. Pity that there no consistency with any of West Ham, spurs, Man U or Arsenal. Sadly for that reason I think the sh*te will still squeak 4th regardless of AFCON.

They could finish fourteenth and UEFA would still find something in their rules and regulations small print on the lines of there needing to be a required number of teams that play in red needing to be included.

All without taking a breath.
Funnily enough as I approach my 70th birthday in a few months, only this morning I was thinking to myself, hopefully I've got about five or six years of sensible quality living left. I wonder if I'll see us win an FA Cup in that time.
I'm 48 and at the stage where I'm resigned to thinking - at least I saw us win a FA cup, league title, European trophy.
I feel like i imagine PNE fan would probably felt in the 1920's after witnessing their invincibles in the 1880s/90s
or a Huddersfield fan in the 50's who watched them under Herbert Chapman in the 30's.

I'm being sustained by seeing us win things since 1963. Four league championships gives me bragging rights over the Johnny Come Lately RS fans who are still wanking over the asterisk trophy from the other year.

Same - always my retort to any pee taking RS of any age or level of brain function - I've seen us win league, cup , European trophies some fans never experience even one of those.

I got my first season ticket in 85/86 at 12, a season after our greatest ever and the season RS pipped us to the double.
