I think I`ll reserve judgement on Brands till after the summer window. If we continue to bring in players like Coutinho, Longstaff, Barkley and this Iranian Messi then quite clearly Brands wasnt the problem

It appears the reason that Brands was fired because he was an obstacle to Moshiri signing the players he wanted.

Now that blockage has been removed we will see what Moshiri/Benitez transfer strategy really is.

So far we have one of Usmanov’s dodgy Russian deals plus Longstaff.

Not looking great really.
