ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It's getting ridiculous how many times Shippmann is getting away with bringing the game into disrepute. He is at it every game, but today all the antics on the touchline with the 4th official, chasing and haranguing the ref in the tunnel and then his comments on the field at the final whistle was off the scale.

No other manager would get away with it, he's a complete disgrace.

Im no fan of refs, linesman and 4th officials (mainly because they give Lancearmstorng FC and the other super League snake sides far too many unjust decisions every week) but his treatment of them is just unacceptable and it needs to be sanctioned and stopped.

imagine him if murderpool had the decisions Everton have had over the years - his head would explode!
Proper chameleon he is,adjusts his comments as and when necessary to suit his and his odious clubs needs

They are just so used to decisions and the rub of the green that the one time in a hundred they don't get it there's mass hysteria.

Would be nice if a reporter responded to Klopp,
"if all you want is consistency, do you not think you should have received a red card? Ancelotti got a straight red after a game. You berated the ref for longer at half time and full time as well as carrying on like a lunatic all through the match yet only got a yellow."

I can see their point about the Kane challenge, I mean we had Mason Holgate sent off recently for a challenge similar, but the precious flowers had been getting away with murder for years with snidey challenges and getting dodgy decisions so it’s karma in a way
First red in over 100 games.

It's hilarious seeing some of the reactions of their "fans" they genuinely believe that the referees are against them. Its properly ludicrous, the lot of them don't know they're born.

A couple of weeks ago when they had Southampton at Anfield, my group chat was buzzing with all my mates kicking off at how awful they were playing.

They were 2 nil up in 30 minutes. They're just spoilt children the lot of them.

It's over for them. The end. They know it.

Look at the midfield they had to put out yesterday when they had a couple sidelined with Covid and had to reshuffle the pack. The depth isn't there.

WHEN this PL is shut down for a few weeks - maybe months soon (as it should be) - there will, on reactivation, be easily 2 games per week...possibly 3 every 10 games when you throw in Euro games and domestic cups, as the WC means there's no scope to end the season a lot later than May.

Klopp and Rat Robertson's actions yesterday have to be seen in that context: complete frustration that they are - in any case, inferior to City even when they do put their strongest XI out, but when teams need to go to the strength of their squads Liverpool are reduced to the level of a Man Untd right now or a West Ham or Leicester.

Klopp conceded the title yesterday. That's when he finally decided a PL break was the correct way of dealing with football and football fans in the coming period.

It's over for Liverpool. Over.

And I dont see them being a force in the next few years either. Possibly Salah gets off this summer, and regardless, they have an ageing first team and are another year further into the downside of their peak which happened 2 seasons ago.

Pass the sick bag - 'the people's champions'. lol
