The issue I have is apart from that risk element is that it seems there is no money to spend so in reality we are forced into replacing like for like as all we can do is sell our best players and buy replacements.

I know Digne hasn’t been great but I can’t imagine this unknown 22 year old is going to perform at any better than he has

But you don’t know that. Again, let’s wait to see him play.

Digne is only going downhill from this point. He will be 29 in the summer, we can’t wait for him to be finished before we look at replacing him like we have with Coleman and did with Baines. This lad has scope to get better even if he doesn’t hit the ground running straight away.

Nope, given all his 'Experience' as so many like to remind others of he should be able to work with what is in front of him, what would have happened if he had come in and we had had a transfer ban because of FFP, no choice but to just get on with it then.
