Was better in the second half, but Christ that first half was bad.

In that little run of games that he had in the summer of 2020 I thought we've got a terrific player on our hands. I would love to see him getting another run of games for us before we rush off to buy a central defender at the end of the season.

Honestly, not a man of the match performance, but was really solid at the back.

No errors, did everything right and got on the end of the cross.

He loves it, and it’s exciting that we’ve got a young prospect like that. Hopefully will get a chance over the regularly erratic Holgate going forward.

He's not bad on the ball either though, a lot more pace than you would assume too.

I'm not getting carried away either but he reminds me of Baresi mixed with Sammer and a bit of Beckenbauer thrown in...

Got a nice turn of pace for a big lad as well, looks promising and recently signed a new contract.

Well done lad. Really big performance. Must not be easy to do that when you're playing week in week out but to make your first appearance, play that well.
