I don't know their wages. Too much whatever it was. I remember seeing 90k bandied about for rondon, and I would expect it to be around that with no transfer fee paid. I saw lots of reports putting him up on 150k+ when he went to China, and even after a phased reduction when they brought the salary cap, it was still remarkably high which is why they didn't get a settlement agreement for months of trying until we showed we wanted him.

I remember that too, it was one of those baseless figures though that everyone just treats as fact. We were looking to get the wage bill right down, we would never have given him that amount given his age, form, status and anticipated game time.
I wish they would release the salary figures on this one, Gray and Andros

There is absolutely no way he moved to China for 28kpw when he could’ve easily got signed by a lower half prem side or even championship side who would’ve paid him more at the time
