Mate, Rondon is on a very basic salary. He was on his way out in China (after loan in Russia ended), is 32, was happy to sit on the bench (obvs DCL was not meant to explode) and he was replacing players in an attempt to reduce the huge wage bill. You and NNA are fact adjacent. Could be worse, you could be Chesney, who is fact-retardant.

Add a 0 to the end of that weekly number more like, he didn’t go to China to see the sights and try the chow mein*Mate, Rondon is on a very basic salary. Other English newspapers report in the region of £150k to £250k
He was not on £28k a week.
He joined in 2019 and signed a 3.5 year contractSecond contract not the first one, was out of favour
Simple
Well this revised contract was 2020?!He joined in 2019 and signed a 3.5 year contract
So Rondon decided to take a £130k a week pay cut?? Yeah okWell this revised contract was 2020?!
The 150k pw thing originally came from the south shields gazetteSo Rondon decided to take a £130k a week pay cut?? Yeah ok
Even a tenner a week is too much. The 150k pw thing originally came from the south shields gazette
Either way, we will see when the club announces the salaries.
The fact he was in bad form, terminated contract, 32, expected to play about 2 games a year, was happy to sit on the bench and was replacing players due to their high wages leads me to believe he is not on high wages . It’s kind of obvious

We will see when the salary list is released. I repeat though, he was unwanted, out of form, 32, meant to be sat on the bench and coming in to reduce the wage bill. He will be on less than £50kHe was on a fortune in China - hence him going there despite being on a 70k a week Prem contract (which he still had a year on).
A year ago the Chinese opted on a salary cap for foreign players, leading to players like Rondon scrambling to get away. He certainly never signed a 28k a week deal, and will be on considerably more than that at Everton.
