We could get te best manager in der wurld but fact is our squad still consists of 5-7 seriously poor standard footballers. No manager can solve that. The problem is Moshiri. Hate to say it but he has failed massively so far.

I have a hard time imagining anyone who could do any better with this squad, and also anyone who would want to parachute into a club mid-season, with a largely garbo squad which cannot be meaningfully improved upon until at least the summer, and probably then on the back of selling at least one of our best players.

So it’s a “no” from me.

Not sure it will do much beyond a brief upturn in results and the merry go round starts again. Far from a Benitez fan I didn't want him, but it's been five or six managers in reality. The issues start at the top.

Could Pep, Klopp or Tuchel get a tune out of this group of players? Ancelotti finished 12th and 10th. We currently sit 11th.

After less than £3m spent this summer, should we expect better from the players available? Or are we performing about where we are for the years of poor investment and injuries we have?

Sounds to me like we’re laying the blame at yet another managers door after a run of bad results, when the board and players are the problem and have been for years.
