He went off after 20 minutes last season if I remember correctly, that was one of his only appearances then.

I suppose I'd like to see it as a proper 4-3-3. I just think Allan is better being able to go and hassle and press. Delph in there is fine - for today like given our options - but just feel we need numerical superiority in that part of the pitch. People scream and shout about heart and desire and attitude and yes, it's a problem, but our problem the other day was a non-existent midfield, just as it was against Watford, and our manager has kept the same system, again.

Agreed. 2 central midfielders leaves us exposed and doesn’t help Everton retain the ball either, this has been a theme for the last 3 seasons (even with the Duke) yet it’s still being employed. Everton need to come out at 100mph or this is going to get ugly inside the stadium
