Good morning Messy sorry to hear you are back in but the moaning bit is good news ,I have been training the missus and after 20 years she is getting quite good she can moan at nearly everything now ,at first you could see she was a bit raw and it was for effect but now it rolls of the tongue and I can see it is real feeling .So feeling quite proud and goes down as one of my better achievements .Have a good one today and keep up the moaning .

Him and Allardyce are cut from the same cloth. We never learn. I think until the management situation is sorted this is the circus we will have. Ancelotti was the man it's just a shame we ran out of money.
Moshiri has got his eyes on the prize - the new stadium and the business opportunities for him and his cronies to make lots of money, I don't think he's really bothered about the football side of things and its showing.

Everybody is an expert with hindsight Harry.
Whilst I had concerns over his fitness record we had a very young squad at the time and I thought his experience would be invaluable. Didn't expect him to be available for so few games though.

I actually think he pokes his nose in too much, which I suppose is his right seeing as he has put s much money in. But he employed Brands to run the football side of things, and he should have just let him get on with it rather than employ a selection of managers who also want to control the football side.
There's been zero continuity since mosh took over which can be seen in the very fractured squad that we have.

Morning mate, morning @messymascot glad you're feeling a little better and back to your grumpy self. Morning everyone. Even the rain cant spoil an Everton free Saturday. Moshiris an ego maniac who wants to run every aspect of the club because its his money. Cant wait till he builds the stadium and clears off or loses enough money that he realises he knows nothing about football and butts out and lets Brands or another DOF run the football side of the club.

Brands get's a lot of stick on here and some of it is justified, but I really don't think he's been allowed to do his job properly.
My biggest issue with the guy is that he signed a new contract this summer even though he knew full well he wasn't doing a proper job. For me, that's just taking Mosh's shilling. It's a shame because i think he could do a good job if allowed to.

Good afternoon @messymascot I was laughing for pages while catching up to this thread until I read your post about being back at the hospital 
but I’m glad that today you are having a better day and are back to your grumpy self. And there is reason to be grumpy after hearing that Mina still is out, we could have really use him for tomorrow’s match and Colombia could use him against Brazil on Thursday. Anyway, tomorrow’s match is a challenge that we really need to overcome otherwise it is going to get ugly at Goodison. Since you won’t be able to watch the match I definitely will give you updates here but don’t have high expectations of my posts as sometimes I like commenting on how cute a player looks

Exactly. I was excited when we got him but what does he do? Moshiri came in and looked like he was hiring the best, but whats the point when theyre not allowed to do their jobs. Moshiri intervening and trying to do every job when he knows nothing about football. If he let his hirings do their own jobs we'd be in a far, far better position. Whats the point of bringing a new manager in every year and letting each of them bring in 4 players. Dof should be identifying all players and a coach to suit. No wonder we've such a mismash of players, no style or shape and a kopite as the figurehead of the club.
