Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I don't think you get ignored. I was worried people sometimes make to much of a fuss and talk in that patronising voice. However I will be telling people I'm the same person talk to.me like you always have.
Re being ignored in wheelchair my friend had the opposite experience. After being left outside a shop my friend struck up a conversation with a young bloke. He said something my friend didn’t quite catch so she asked him to repeat it, still didn’t understand, not wanting to appear rude and thinking it must be about the weather or something like that replied non commitally Yes I suppose so. Daughter emerges from shop to find said bloke on a mat, kneeling next to wheelchair saying a prayer for her Mum. Friend now under strict instructions not to speak to strangers. ?

…..many thanks for all the good wishes following my recent detached retina op.

Went back the hospital today. No vision as yet in my left eye but it’s all looking ok and things should start improving in another 4 weeks or so, although it will never be as good as it was. I’m perfectly fine with that, just hoping it stays intact & I don’t need another operation.

Anyway, I don’t have to lie on my right side for 50 out of every 60mins which is a blessing but I’m on ‘light duties’ for a while which mRaBs lMrs Eggs is carrying the burden, especially when we start minding the granddaughters again.

I might even have a rum tonight, it’s been a while.

Glad it went well. Enjoy the rum!

Good news Eggs.

I had enough Rum last night to last me a month of Everton losses

Brother in law likes his drink. Especially rum.

I'll have a week off the booze once he goes. Bit of a detox. I've probably consumed 3 or 4 times my usual intake over the last 10 days.

I missed that one Eggs, I hope your recovery goes well, enjoy your rum tonight.

Dear, Karl. I hope you had a lovely dinner with your friends last night and are having sweet dreams at the moment.

It took me 10 pages to finally catch up with everything that has been happening the past few days on your thread. I was away with the family on a camping trip and actually missed Saturday's game. I got to watch the replay last night but I wish I had never done so lol What a melt down by our players, however, now more than ever it's time for Everton to lick it wounds and get ready to win the next fight. If people like yourself are fighting the hardest to keep going then our players should be expected to put a good battle next game too! And I really hope they do!

How has the wheel chair been working out? Any other plans for the remainder of the week?

Sending a big hug and a kiss your way. XOXO
