Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Wouldn't worry too much, nobody else is arsed mate, we're all in awe of how you keep smiling and keep being so positive each day.
Oh and don't feel awkward, everyone who posts here does so because they care and choose to do so. x

Yeah I'm glad I set it up and hope others might get benefit from it after my day has come.

I do have days when I'm sad but I come onto this site and their is always a conversation for me to join in that takes my mind off it.

Always someone here to talk to. 24/7.

Place is an absolute Godsend in that respect.
Just having someone to natter to helps, and most of the time there's some madness or other going off to completely take your mind off things. Lost hours on here posting absolute wham lol
Long may it continue

Was never keen on Mansell, I can't take to Lewis Hamilton either. Daniel Ricciardo is my favourite of the current lot. Alonso is good too. he's done wonders with that car this year.

Damon Hill was my favourite British driver. Hamilton I strongly disliked when he first appeared I started to warm to him however he is back to being annoying in my eyes. His ability can not be doubted but his personality let's him down. I like Ricciardo as well as he's cheerful. I hope next year there is a few teams in contention so it's more exciting.

Yeah there are a lot of interesting and differing views on here. You just have to wait to see when teamsheets are posted some are saying they are chuffed and it's the strongest team possible while others are saying its an horrendous line up. It's good though as it would be rubbish if we all just came on here and held each others hands agreeing.

I'll try my best to keep you cheered up. Nothing worse than a crap day at work.

I feel a little awkward because the thread is about me but I am also delighted people like it.

With all the medications I take I find it takes me ages to think of and then type the things I want to say. Occasionally when I read them there is random typos and wrong words altogether typed.

I wouldn`t worry about the odd typo or grammatical error every now and again mate, as USER=1486]@Joey66[/USER] has been baffling the whole forum for years with his posts in Swahili.

Not recently since my new spell checker lol

No picking on @Joey66 this is a nice thread. I sometimes quote wrong posts in wrong threads.

If ever come on here and any of my posts are utter jibberish please let me know. I fell asleep at my phone the other day and when I woke up I had a half typed message that didn't make sense. At least if someone spots one on here I'll know its time to be ultra careful what I write.
Mate haven’t you read posts on here after 10pm on a Saturday match day??

?

I think I've seen it but I get chance I might give it another look. He was the George Best or Ian Botham of F1.

Again my dad was a big F1 fan. Oddly though he liked Mansell who I'm not too keen on. My favourite F1 driver is Fernando Alonso.
I once went on a 'drive day' at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire. It was run by ex F1 driver Jonathon Palmer. There was a very tight chicane on the circuit and I patted myself on the back because I managed to get through at 60mph. I was driving a Ford Escort with a 2.9 litre Cosworth engine with turbo. I then did a couple of laps with Johnathon Palmer driving. He drove the whole time with one hand, with his left arm over the back of the seat so that he was half turned towards me while he talked. We approached the chicane and he said 'we can take this at 100mph' and he did. I suppose knowing what a car is capable of is half the battle but I still wouldn't have fancied doing it at that speed.
Also drove a Formula Ford single seater that day which was interesting. My favourite was the Caterham Special which was a twin seater. We drove it round a special track with roundabouts and chicanes, tight bends etc., It was so responsive that you could take the roundabouts by hitting the brake then the accelerator and broadsiding all the way around. This was back in the 1990's, still got some photo's of the day.

Sounds really good that. I've always wanted to drive the McLaren F1 as when I was in my early teens it was the fastest road car. Another Super Car from that era was Jaguar XJ220 that was nearly as fast but looked a bit more attractive.
