Godfrey got dragged across because the midfield failed to track Fernandes. He couldn't leave Fernandes and then couldn't make up the ground because Fernandes' pass was perfect, and unlike our useless dope up top, Martial is actually a good player so took the chance first time

I just thought they might have been better the other way round as Gordon played as a 10 mainly in u18s and u23s and most of Grays best football for us has been from the left.

I thought the same looking at the starting lineups but Gray has been playing really well, been able to float around and cause problems. Gordon's working hard but he tends to linger on the ball too long, giving the opposition time to take it off him and his decision making could be better. Put other players in bad positions a couple of times by trying to pass out of trouble, instead of clearing it.
