However, he then posted a pic on Instagram simply captioned 'Ready' so he'll probably be fine.

Thought he did a great job of keeping possession when he had no right to, winning fouls. Rolled the CB beautifully only for the ref not to see teh pull back and the inevitable red card that would have followed.

I can only assume the ref didnt or couldn't see it from his angle, Linesman perhaps should have

VAR could ahve easily intervened there. No idea why it didn't. Clearly through on goal, clearly no attempt on the ball, clearly a foul.
