I was very disappointed with his tactical awareness tonight. My Nan would've seen that change was needed and he didn't do it until we went behind. So far so good with him this season but not impressed tonight.

Get some of the ball and then a lot of the man, glad to see a strong challenge coming back into the game

Its the nothing fouls that need to go where there is a little bit of normal contact. The refs are doing better tbf.

Its not a red card challenge by any means but I still think you should be booked when you go right through someone on the touchline. Its a little bit of a cheap shot.

Really good comeback. Showed character. Could/should have scored 5 when we were on fire. In the end, settled for the 3-1. Shockingly bad first half. Lots of room for improvement.

50 Years ago I attended (one of) my first games - a 2-2 draw at Turf Moor. I had hoped to celebrate this landmark last January - on the very anniversary date - but Covid denied me the chance (and, typically, we lost 2-1). This was a much more satisfying way to celebrate (if that's the right word) a half century of match attending

Bayern won 3-1. How did Everton get on?

Made a change at 1-1 in fairness, but yes I thought there was a clear change needed at half time. For some reason most managers dont want to change things at the break.


Poor for 45mins, gave them too much time. As counter productive as it is, we needed to go a goal down to switch on.

Really great last 30. Shame Gomes can't hit a barn door cause that would have been a nice touch to hit four.

Another good second half performance after being 1-0 down again, the crowd really helped and we just blew them away with Doucoure driving us forward at will.

The starting formation didnt work tonight. But he seems the type to learn from that and move on. Still a learning process for both manager and players but UTFT
