Benitez has got every player looking better.

They're fitter, they're hungrier, they're capable of passing (forwards) to each other but what's best, as we saw with the penalty debacle, there is leadership and discipline in the squad.

I'm so happy to be enjoying watching Everton again. If he keeps this up we might have to stop calling him Benitez.

Tough one for motm, so many played well. Engine room was fantastic, Townsend's work rate was incredible.

I'm going with Mason Holgate though, because you didn't notice him the whole game which (in my book*) is the mark of a class centre half performance.

The squad is looking thread bare we couldn't even name the full quota of subs today. Hopefully we will add a bit of quality in the next couple of days.

Good result away from home, we seemed very comfortable at 2-0 and could have made it 3, Richarlison should have had a penalty late on, but I think some refs don't like giving more than 1 pen per team in a game.

I agree Allan probably was MOM but I've given it to Keane who also had a very good game. He deserves it after the stick he's had for the last 2 games. Could easily have thrown the towel in but stood up to the plate. Chuffed for him. Holgate too. Half the fans on here would have had him sold.

Good comfortable result. Having a fast energetic team makes such a difference. Will be interesting to see what he does against a big team. Still think a third midfielder would be useful sometimes.
