Allan and Doucoure in charge of the middle, Gray and Townsend just fantastic, especially the former, Keane 100% improved and we're truly looking one fit and hungry side. Pickford has had the afternoon off so far.

I think he has hit it that late that the keeper wasn't expecting it, possibly thought the defender sliding in would block it and by the time he realised that wasn't happening it was almost past him

Nice to have a player who can actually run at the defence with speed though and find the angles. Normally we would expect it to roll past the post. Actually I take that back, we wouldn’t have even got into that position in the first place.
