There'll be loads saying "Oh, players missing, only pre-season, doesn't matter"... but it does, because this is the squad we're taking into a new season where we have to get off to a good start or we're in stark trouble. We knew this was the type of 'performance' we'd get with this squad.

That team today is all on Marcel Brands. It's a disgrace we're heading into our first game without a new right back and only Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray as incomings.

He should be sacked.

We've needed a RB since he arrived and he loaned Sidibe and that is quite literally the only thing he's done about it.

It's also just exactly how we're going to play under benitez. An ill-suited 4-2-3-1, trying to long ball it to bang average players.

We were crap for the second half of last season so it wouldn't take much improvement, but I just am in no way looking forward to what we're likely gonna save up.
