It just appears that we are absolutely clueless at negotiating. The chunky fees / wages for players of an average standard which we are now stuck with is well discussed on here, but how on earth the club gave Ancelotti a contract which allowed him to walk away scot free after the money we've had to pay to get rid of managers and compensate other clubs to let them come to us is unbelievable.

Was there confirmation we received no pay off? We are absolute mugs if that is the case.

thats exactly what happened. 'Seen it all operators' like Ancelotti will have seen Moshiri a mile off and have been rubbing his hands.

That, I am afraid, is the calibre of owner we are dealing with.
I am not unsympathetic to this view...seems more at home with the none footballing side of things.

apparently…..

I wonder if Rafael has a similar clause in his contract. Martinez, Koeman and Ancelotti got nice jobs after a short spell with us. We could attract previously successful managers that want to get back in the big time. The only problem is the mess they leave behind when they move on.

The slightly ironic thing here is that Usmanov and Moshiri asked Arsenal for more input and more say in to the club and Arsenal said no, that's why Moshiri is here. Turns out Arsenal had the right idea there..
