Whichever you cut it, Martinez spent vastly less than Koeman.

He still bought crap though. He bought 17 players in and only 4 of them were any good (Lukaku, Barry, Mccarthy and you could argue deulofeu).

He was also backed to the hilt considering what we were like back then. We spent 30m on a striker with kenwright in charge! I nearly fainted when that happened.

I agree about the lack of goals/assists. I'm hoping Gray could do quite well but we really need a RB who can contribute.
Doubt it, in his five seasons where he actually got game time at Leicester he registered 10 league goals in 133 games. A goal every 13 games. His best goal scoring season was 4 in 34 league games for them. The other 4 seasons he got 0, 3, 2 and 1 league goal. In those five seasons he played 30 games or over in three of them and over 20 on another. He’s a sporadic goal threat.

Net profit from RM's time here on players.

He was taking us backwards. No doubt his first season, I thought we played the best football in the league. Sunderland game cost us top 4. After that we went backwards, and quick.
It started going downhill with a shambolic pre-season before the 2014/15 season - the opening two games against leicester and arsenal we were by far the better side and should have won at a canter - unfortunately we hadn’t trained properly and so were blowing out of our backsides from the hour mark and drew both.

I remember distin having a fall out with martinez about the training regime or lack of and being banished - all of the professionalism of the moyes era was quickly lost and we drifted
