McGrath was a God on the football pitch. He read the game better than anyone. Imagine the player he could have been if he wasn't an alcoholic and didn't have dodgy knees. Sheedy was just class though. No disrespect to Everton but he was capable of playing at the highest level in football imo.
We were the highest level when Sheedy played for us!

Finding Jack Charlton class to be fair, think it’s on Netflix or RTÉ player.

Toast is right, the McGrath stuff is really a great insight.

To be fair I think Paul would say Taylor and Atkinson were brilliant with him too.

What a player, one of the best I’ve seen.
Sheedy, Brady, Mc Grath in that order. I'll check it out 'finding Jack Charlton'

Cheeky get, we were the pinnacle of English and European football when he played for us

James our best attacker, I thought whoever the manager was that we brought in was to get the best out of what we got whilst tweeking afew things, not sell our best players for some dirty lumps
He's a great player on the ball. But he can not play a whole season, and we are paying him 200k a week and have no first team right back able to play a whole season. Our squad is imbalanced. We need balance. He isn't going to fit a RB system, if he goes and we can bring a few in it may actually be better overall...

If you think this is anything to do with Benítez not wanting him them you're wrong. Brands didn't want him originally and as good as he is, he's an unreliable player on huge wages. He's also one of the few sellable assets we have and as we are in dire need of a sale before we can reinvest, he's been placed on the 'would sell' list, rightly or wrongly. But it's nothing to do with RB.
