Because he has to prove twenty goals for a few seasons. I just don't see the Spurs thing yes they will have money when Kane goes but will they really pay what we would want and would we really sell our key player this summer? He said he wants Champions league is it really a guarantee at Spurs? I think he ends up in Manchester myself eventually

The lad could well be excellent, but imagine if we bought an unproven lad from Chelsea, we'd have the Everton have more league titles than Chelsea, Brands is a joke, he can't buy players, we are skint, blah blah blah.

I don't think he'll ever reach the level where City or United are interested (well, definitely not City anyway).

Tottenham aren't a guarantee, but they're one of the few realistic options outside of the teams that are probably beyond him.

He's in the mould of Jimenez, who Nuno got the best out of at Wolves, but I'm not sure Levy would pay what he's worth to Everton.

Occupational hazard when you're earning £1m to source players, I'm afraid.

I must confess, I was being a bit facetious.

He just doesn't strike me as someone who the best teams will ever come calling for, which is fine by me, as I think Everton is the perfect fit for him.

Also, even if there was mad money on offer, I wouldn't trust the club to spend it wisely.

It happened by accident at Stoke you know, he was there a while, they were messing one day in training and he took a throw in the offensive half, he was never a very offensive player. He describes it as everyone just stopping and saying WTF, where did that come from? From that point on Pulis had him on them all offensively.

I also am often highly ratted and have had impressive numbers of old bags at all levels.
