I’ll usually do my utmost to see the positives in any given transfer but that would be an absolutely rotten bit of business.

Before his leg break, he was top class, he’s never really came back to the player he was before it, still has a lot to give but he was one of the best in the league before.

To be fair we’ve been good to him to, we looked after him with a new contract during his rehab, so the loyalty has worked both ways, we‘ve been good to each other.

Everyone at the club or has left always speaks well of him, he does a lot with EITC I believe as well. He gets it, even if his Phil Neville rallying calls after a tonking wreak my head - always have time for Seamus.

The one thing i would say with Winks is what was everybody saying we were lacking in midfield?

Someone who can get on the ball from the defence and play a pass into the final third.

He can do that. Issue is, he can't really carry it and if the movement around him isn't there then I think he'd become a crab pretty quickly.
