There was talk again in a podcast, that Rafael may have gone off him, because of the defensive side of his game. With Digne a very attack minded left back. Maybe he wants a bit more defensive nous down the right.

Interesting article on Toffeeweb setting out the FFP situation.

We probably have to sell one or two before we can do anything in the transfer market. I’m sure they were hoping to shift Kean plus one other to give us the budget for one plus a loan.

Probably looking to shift Kean, Rodriguez and Mina.

Kean should be the only one moved on out of those 3. Mina is our best centre half and James is the only player with any creativity in the squad. The issue is as always, no other clubs are going to take our deadwood off our hands, in particular with the wages they are on. It will be difficult to replace the quality of Mina and James with in all likelihood a budget of getting 30m for both of them. In today’s market you’d be lucky to get two championship players for 30m.
