I can see the potency of the front 3 tailing off, and the likes of Jota are the next level or two down from them.

They need to sell at least one of the front three and spend big on his replacement...AT LEAST.

They went on about Jota being this world class goal scorer. What he was was a good player in a hot streak. Across the season it levelled out to 9 league goals which is about his level. If he was injured a bit less maybe he gets to the 10-12 mark.

I'd laugh my head off if they went and splashed 100m+ on Bowen and Abraham to go alongside Jota. None of them would get substantially more than 10 league goals a season, and it will mean they wont be spending for the next 3 or 4 seasons again.

As you say, they are good players, but little more than that.

That's true, but they are also carrying injuries and playing on with them because of Liverpool's lack of quality deputies.

I dont think there's any Liverpool fan who fancy going into a new season with those 3 plus Jota. They need signings.

IMO they'd have been better off failing to make top 4 last season; there could have been a clean break with the old guard and a rebuild. Now they have players who wont fancy a move away and their sell on value will drop.
