He has actually proved to be quite the finisher in front of goal, I'd like to see him throw in some long range efforts as well. He has played really well this season, improving a lot. Central midfield is better, but without Pienaar or anyone else who is decent on the wings, I'd put him there
I think he's best as a central player but now that Mcfadden is all but gone I think Moyes will use him on the left alot more as cover for Pienaar, with Fernandes then coming in for Osman in the middle. Osman is a good option in both positions.

Agreed with Danny and Sharpy, i think he and a lot of our midfeilders need an enforcer protector in a five man midfeild to allow their attributes to come to the fore!

ive always said he is a center midfeilder that lacks a bit of strength and aggression.
but then again he could be winger , but lacks a bit of pace and crossing ability.
then again i think he could play that cahill role , floating about behind the loan striker and nipping in for the odd sneaky goal.

With the Right back overlapping to put crosses into the box, ossie could then step inside on his left foot where he is most dangerous. This would avoid him having to cross to accurately and set up some strikes on goal.

To be honest buddy I believe he truly blows hot and cold. He is a true team player. If Everton play well he plays well and vice versa. Or am I not giving him enough credit. Could it be a case that if he plays good EFC play good. Maybe it works that way. Who knows. The lad is an enigma sometimes. But I love watching him play well. It truly is awe inspiring sometimes.
He is a central player all the way, and as for lightweight, he is 2 stone heavier than Pienaar by all accounts. The pie man weighs 10 stone 4 when wet.

Agreed Micknick. Ossie's always been too easy to knock off the ball.

this has been a great year for ozzie. he is one of th better passers in the side and has an eye for goal. he can play in either position so it's a bonus that we are talking about which is better. i guess he will be fighting fernandez for a starting place... although it seems he was the first name on the sheet earlier this season.
