Everton Summer transfers 2021

The quality around ASM in Newcastle was different, all the goals has been his own work, and there was no one to complement him. He was also injured most of the time. But here with better players around will be different. But again 60mn is too much may be around 40mn or so would be fair.
I would take him in heartbeat he’s quality

A lot of news outlets regurgitating a story from the Telegraph stating that we are prepared to sell 6 players this summer; Gomes, Delph, Bernard, Tosun, Rodriguez and Mina. I'm not sure on the Telegraph and their source for this. I would say that selling Gomes, Delph, Bernard and Tosun would come as a surprise to no one. Gomes has not been in the first 11 really since his bad injury a few seasons ago, really he has been a bench player, except for when we have had injuries. Delph has hardly played since he arrived and been "injured" for most of the time. Bernard nearly left in January, Tosun has spent as much time injured and on loan as he has at the club and available.

With Mina, he was linked with a move away last season, after the January window closed there was a story that he wanted to go back to Spain or go to Italy in the summer. The question will be does anyone want him for what we would accept as a transfer, what would we want? £25m? we would probably need to spend £35m on Koulibaly to replace him, or £50m on Ben White, or £35m on Lenglet.

With James he has been linked with AC Milan and possibly some sort of swap deal with Leao, but that seems dead now as it was reported that Leao wants to stay in Milan and Milan seem to be in for Vlasic. If you look at James goals and goal contributions he will be hard to replace in the side.

I think most of us were hoping for some sort of summer clear out and I for one would be fine with Gomes, Delph, Bernard and Tosun going (though I think becasue of Tosuns injury it will be a loan at the end of the window). I think for the other two we would need decent offers for both of them and very good replacements.

James to AC Milan possibly. On a side note, it is baffling to know that Inter was able to get the AC Milan star man Hakan Çalhanoğlu for free... whom they are looking to replace with James. Hope we could get something similar or for nominal fee.

With respect to CB he is looking for someone with a commanding presence & character who can motivate the players around him. Someone like a circus ring master, atleast one of the CB needs to be vocal. He had Laceslles at NU, & Carra at ... Hope KK can be convinced.

Can he even speak English? Someone vocal in French/Italian doesn't really help us.

Same could be said of Joelinton...
ASM has at least looked good. Joelinton has looked awful. Not like he's doing good things and being let down (as per maybe Max Aarons who has been making chances but has little assists to correlate with that)

The OP suggested taht ASM has been surrounded by poor quality, of which Joelinton is definately one of them.

People wanting rid of Richarlison and replacing him with ASM are off their rocker.
Wouldn't want him to replace. Would want him as our RW. But only if it was for £35m or less. He works hard defensively as well even if his goal return isn't fantastic, but with better players around him, who knows.

Not convinced. He's always bloody injured too, not what we need.
