To be fair I doubt his value would have been as high if he'd come here. He'd have probably been sitting on the treatment table instead of lifting trophies, knowing our luck!
 
If you could only have one... Arteta or Moutinho which would it be.

Absolutely had to choose one.
 


I would be devastated to see him go. £18m MINIMUM needed for the fee. As for replacing him, we'd need to buy someone with premier league pedigree. The only two who I would consider good enough would be Gary Cahill and Scott Dann.

The few times I saw him at CB he hardly looked assured, he lost his man at the front post a couple of times, once of which he went on to score (I'm not giving specifics i'm not pedantic enough to remember). He also gave the ball away to a Blackpool player with a shoddy pass, who (if he wasn't ****e) wouldve punished us. In other words he hasn't convinced me.

I'd like John to be a good player for us, I just don't think he ever will.

Someone from the Liverpool forum is claiming he went there for talks......does any of you know this? im sure some of you know Phil personally
