The funny thing is Rashford is about as close to a Son style LW as you're likely to find and Southgate uses him as Kane's backup instead of someone who might pair really well with him.

Not to mention, it was basically us Americans won the WW2 for the Allies.

Russia was bled white, as was Germany, and by the time the US turned up Germany was basically spent. America contributed massively by providing materials to fight the war and played a huge part no doubt, but to claim it was the US "who basically won WW2 for the allies" is a very Hollywood interpretation of the facts considering about 20 million Russians died compared to a comparatively minuscule number of Americans.
