Think if it was going to take off, i think that Liverpool should really be the first to go ahead with it!Hypocrites.
Lecturing every other club about no standing for years....

Liverpool to install 7,800 rail-seats at Anfield this summer
A big development for the Reds in 2021/22.www.thisisanfield.com
Rank hypocrisy from them and their fans. They kicked up a stink about anyone going near that idea for years. Fair enough. Understandable. However it just underlines what a scumbag club they are by doing a 180 and fitting them in...for cash reasons.Think if it was going to take off, i think that Liverpool should really be the first to go ahead with it!
If they are ok with it, it means everyone else can follow suit with no blow back

...and probably make you a promise tooCareful Dave, he might shake your hand really hard if you go making assertions like that.
I'm sure the standing areas will be safe...and have been for years when LFC and their cult were criticisng them and others who wanted them. Will be interesting to see how the families react
My fear is that The RS's "finest" will go after them if they don't back it or criticise the club
This could end up being a pretty big issue
I personally think rail seating is a good idea and it's generally safe, so if Liverpool are adopting it then it makes it easier for us to do it as well, which is a good thing in the long run
My hope is that they at least gave the families a heads up and got their approval first

True. I stood on the Kippax at Maine road for years and years and then one year decided to give the Main Stand which was opposite a go and had seating. In fairness mate, the FSF have come out in favour of "safe" standing. To me it's a bit of an oxymoron so it will never be for me. Personally after what happened at Hillsborough I wouldn't want to go back to the standing route. Those days people pine for are long gone, and in honesty were never as great as people thought anyway.

I remember being blown away by how much better the view was and much more you actually saw of the game. It was a revelation. I only went back to the Kippax after Hillsborough when all seater stadiums became mandatory. I think safe standing is a good idea. Pretty much a half way house really but lets be honest, the clubs are only doing it because they believe they can generate more revenue and not because the fans want it.
'Koff they're from your end.Scotland Road my arse.
Liverpool FC are a south end club.
He's a wrong'un is Clattenburg. Very suspect.![]()
Mark Clattenburg opens up on Everton 'nightmare' after infamous Liverpool derby
Former referee Mark Clattenburg has explained what happened during the controversial Merseyside derby in 2007www.liverpoolecho.co.uk
Interesting that he doesn't mention what he said to moyes after the game.
Thats not how it's going to be though? Railed standing so there is enough space for everyone and with modern technology the numbers in the stand are monitored. Away games when we score are dangerous with people falling over seats because everyone stands anyway. In fairness mate, the FSF have come out in favour of "safe" standing.
