If your jack grealish right now sat there watching sterling play Infront of you you'd be sick. He is twice the player sterling is, had twice the season sterling has had and was the best player in both the warmup games.

Southgate is living off getting the world cup semis with the easiest run on existence despite being beat 3 teams in it by the only 3 decent teams we played.

Can understand picking one of Sterling, Rashford or Sancho for one of the wings as they have pace to get in behind. Foden and Grealish tend to play between the lines so IMO they were competing for the other wing.
 
Phillips and Rice ? No LB ? Sterling starting ? Sancho not even in the squad

Mings and Trippier decisions are just straight up weird though.
