Moyes odds slash.
We would have to buy him out of his West Ham contract - never go back, he's like Father Christmas gets the sack a lot .... his record since leaving us is pants he's a failure one good season at West ham no thanks .... Knife to a gunfight attitude remember back .... hoof ball too.....

Rather give big Dunc a go TBH with a good no 2 - Tim Cahill or Lampard.... than him return ......if he does its Blue Bill with our Davey .... far to cosy.....

Agreed, but he did he build the platform....i aint saying he would be a perfect fit, but compared to others available he would imo be the best option. I also believe it would generate a level of excitement and expectation within the club...Cant imagine the feeling on here were Potter to be appointed

personally cant see many people happy or excited by lampard, he should still be in the lower leagues learning his trade like ferguson should be also if he wants the job.

What in his record suggests this will happen I am just not seeing it mate?

Brighton hardly have the best striking options do they?

They created a lot of chances but didn't slot

We have a good striker in DCL

We create the same amount of chances as Bright did but stick a good striker on the end of them then surely that suggests we'll score more goals?

His Brighton side were tight at the back, so if we're tight at the back and scoring goals then we'll win football games and thus have points and thus be in contention for European places

That's just common sense isn't it?

On what planet is Lampard being no 2 to big Dunc

I honestly don't know what some people expect from this appointment. The way every candidate is just being written off on a whim is pretty depressing, it's going to make their job a thousand times harder whoever we appoint.

People seem to be stuck in a bit of a rut with Everton, when something seems promising then it goes to crap like so many times with us, the more that happens, cynicism kicks in, a jaded attitude along with it.

Not to mention the fan base isn’t very unified when it comes to the board either.

I would guess that NES has cooled on us because he wants his own back room team who unlike Duncan can all speak English. He would have been my choice of “those we can realistically expect”. Now I am more convinced than ever it is going to be Wee Eddie.
