I feel like the injuries were more incapacitating at wolves but I digress definitely get the parallels between us and wolves. We have diverging viewpoints as I thought in previous seasons the football is serviceable. I think he's superior to dyche , although I agree I'd rather have a more progressive manager but I wouldn't be appalled by his appointment. The gist your putting forth makes sense anti football is a scourge, and it was obviously present this season bur I thought previous seasons it was more palatable. But that's just down to different perceptions but I can respect your objections.
Not at all, the fan who's just posted, who's a Wolves fan, has more or less, said something very similar to how i've summed it up.
He's an excellent counter attacking manager, who goes and sits in deep, and snatches 1-0 wins etc... But people don't want that. We had a poll on here no more than 3 weeks ago, asking if Ancelotti should be sacked.
He's not what we need. Personally, the new manager is on to a flogging regardless of who he is, because he's not a manager of the same calibre as Ancelotti. We know how our fans can be, and is scrounging away at "defending 0-0 draws"
REALLY what we want, or need? No.
I think it's a huge step backwards, and whilst we can all agree it's better than Eddie Howe, Rafael, it smacks of desperation and I can't see him digging deep and pushing these players the extra yard, which so far 4-5 managers have failed to do. It's a job which comes with significant pressure, something he's not dealt with at Valencia, and it's hazards for me. Just steer clear.
