it's interesting, i watched that United Way on sky last night and they talk about the 80's briefly and how despite winning the FA cup a couple of times United fans craved the league but 'Liverpool were all conquering in the league in the 1980's'. No mention of us at all at all other than a quick shot of Norman Whiteside scoring that goal. Our 83-87 teams are almost completely forgotten by the rest of football.

Tbh mate, its very hard to argue against Liverpool domination in that era.

In 10 years, they won 15 trophies, 60% of the league titles went to them.

We did well, but they really did dominate.

£35mil is a bargain for someone.

Not us though, we need more pace in the middle and im sticking with Kamara at Marseille.

Hes probably worth £35mil himself but with one year on his deal and them needing the money -- £20mil.

Van Dijk, Robertson, McGinn. Decent talent to be had if you're discerning.

Rodgers had him at Celtic, so he must know if he has what it takes to cut it down here.

He seemed to have injury issues last season. That's my biggest concern about any player we might sign these days.

I for one hope we sign Simy from Crotone.
Have I ever watched him play? Absolutely not. But ever reliable Google is telling me he's 6 foot 6 and scored 20 goals this season for a team that only scored 45 goals and came second last in Serie A. Out of contract next year. Could be available for like 3 million. The boy is large. Sign him up and throw it in the mixer for him.
