From how we started and how mad the league was this season to where we find ourselves - very dissapointing.

Opportunity knocked for us this season - our players were too frightened to open the door.

It's an improvement on league position from last season, as good as the early season form was it's 38 games and not the first 8. Finishing round about where I expected, although always hope for better.

6.5-7/10 for me, the away form essentially kept us in and around the Euro spots all year but we threw too many points at home against teams we should have beaten which ultimately may cost us come 6pm tonight

Iwobi given a new improved contract
Iwobi to start every game
Iwobi to be given squad number 10 and the aforementioned number to be retired once Iwobi hangs up his boots ;)

6/10

Next Season:
- better players (particularly RB + RW)
- a clearer, more attacking footballing philosophy
- more minutes for our talented youngsters (Nkounkou, Small, Onyango, etc)

5/10

Failing to reach Europe is very poor for this team after all of the investment. This season feels like a real missed opportunity, although many teams will think that

Moshiri needs to oversee another huge team overhaul and Ancelotti needs to deliver a clear identity, a style of play, an intensity and work ethic that has been missing this season and much better home form.

To do all that in 3-4 months will require a lot of ££££££’s from Moshiri, maybe >£150m

5 to 6 from carlo. 3 to 4 for the players for throwing away a glorious opportunity. * states marks with ultra confidence of results foreseeing today

We started well so expectations were raised.
Then after the defeats at Southampton and Newcastle we just went back to being Everton.

3 footballers who actually move, pass it forward and aren’t just here to pick up a fat salary would be nice.
